Summer Time!

Magna-tiles are awesome! I can't even rotate them with the other toys because someone is always requesting them to be put back out. They are always making houses, skyscrapers, jails, zoos, etc. They are safe and easy to use for all ages!

 Play-dough!
Hex-Builders: These are amazing for math and motor skills. the kids found out about balance, size variation, matching, and that they had to be very stead when stacking or their creation would be ruined.

The Water table is always a hit!

 We had a birthday!
 And another Birthday!
Double layer drop cloth: for some reason the colors don't mix they just expand, so you get a rainbow effect. It is pretty awesome!

This new sweet baby isn't sure what to think of the toddler that is completely fascinated with her!
These two love markers! They are great at coloring on everything! Eventually they will understand what only on the paper means. :)
Baking/ soda vinegar: love mixing colors and making a reaction!

 collecting bugs and plant samples.

Big girls science lab: no one under age 6 allowed!!! Collecting and observing bugs, plants, seeds, and whatever they could find in nature. I was very impressed with the notes and time they spent doing this!
Making bubbles: one of my favorite science activities!
Yarn and Popsicle stick turtles. The school age girls found it on Pinterest.
Part of our morning routine: observing the hummingbirds. The water in blue. the kids insisted on mixing it up a bit. Red is so boring! :)
