Candy corn pumpkin experiment: What happens when we put candy in water? One cup is hot and one is cold. The pumpkin disappears. A white film is left behind.The candy in hot water disappeared first!

Super cute kids!

Afternoon Science Lab! The kids wanted to taste the ingredients. I said yes thinking they would not like the flavor of Corn starch, corn meal, water, baking soda & vinegar. They liked it, or at least liked my grossed out reaction.

Our butterfly hatched!

We were lucky enough to find 1 monarch caterpillar this year. We were able to observe the life cycle/ metamorphosis of the caterpillar changing into a butterfly!
